Rai Legal was established to provide clear, transparent advice. The figures below are guides for typical matters, and we confirm your costs and disbursements in a client care letter at the outset.

If your matter is unduly protracted or involves unanticipated further work, our costs may increase. Any change is notified to you personally, by letter or email.

Landlord & tenant

£200per hour

Charged on an hourly basis for time spent on your matter. Disbursements such as court fees are set out in your client care letter.

Residential conveyancing

A typical purchase at £150,000

For a sale, the Stamp Duty, search and Land Registry items above do not apply, but there would be additional Land Registry disbursements of approximately £6 – £12. Further disbursements will be notified to you.

  2. VAT is added where shown. Disbursements such as Home Office fees, the Immigration Health Surcharge, court fees and Land Registry fees are paid in addition to our costs.

  4. Stamp Duty depends on your circumstances and is confirmed upon initial instructions.
